What is Invoice Discounting?

Invoice discounting is a way of drawing money against your unpaid invoices while retaining control over the administration of your sales ledger. It can improve your business’s cashflow in an affordable way.

It is available to businesses working on credit to other companies. It is generally only provided to organisations turning over at least 500,000 annually.

The invoice discounter checks the business’s systems and clients before advancing a percentage of the outstanding sales invoices.

You will pay the invoice discounter a pecentage of the value of invoices assigned or another agreed fee, along with interest on your advance.

Cheaper postage solutions

My company are struggling at the moment, and every board meeting seems to be centred around finding ways to cut our spending. Until recently, every aspect we seemed to look at produced very little success. However, we then tried to focus on locating postage solutions, and we have managed to find a substantial saving.
A fellow director had read about a business that offered a hybrid mail system, so we set up a working group to look into it. They found it could work very well for us, and we therefore adopted it. It has since brought us some very satisfactory results.

Retail packaging – keep the costs down

When you run your own business, there are so many aspects of trading that you always need to keep an eye on. The more obvious ones include making sure you never run out of stock and always ensuring your establishment is clean and tidy. However, there are others, too, and some of them can be equally important.
For example, using the best retail packaging means your customer sees your products in their best condition. So make sure you use a supplier that not only offers a wide range of products, but does so at the most competitive prices as possible.

Save money buying perfume online

Choosing the right perfume for everyday wear or special occasions can be a very costly business. You will want a variety of scents to suit your mood, because buying perfumes are just like buying clothes – you want something for every eventuality.

A pleasant smelling fragrance can help enhance and brighten your day, but not everyone has an endless supply of cash to spend on her favourite fragrances. What I would say is that you need to look for discounts and special offers online. This is because Internet perfume retailers are looking to ensnare you with special offers and benefits so competition for your business is fierce.

If you want to save money on perfume, you should check out some of the great specialist websites and bag yourself a bargain.

Thinking of looking for flats to rent in Prestwick

With business booming we’ve recently taken on a new project in Glasgow.

Taking on a new site is always exciting but my task is to find an affordable way of putting up the staff as we complete this 6-month long assignment.

With the site to the south of Glasgow, I originally looked for student-style digs in the centre of town. However, costs were prohibitive so instead I’m looking for flats to rent in Prestwick or another of Ayrshire’s many towns.

As you’d expect, rent is a fair bit cheaper and, while these flats are a bit further away from the site, they are just as close since there is less rush hour traffic.
